A pyrrhic Soviet military victory. Its a shame all those Red Army soldiers were sent to their deaths for Stalin's farce. An unnecessary war waged by Stalin for Stalin. Mannerheim and his dictatorship were reactionary, yes; but far too weak to single-handedly pose any real threat to the USSR, as the Stalinist demagogues barked. Very interesting and informative documentary.

Red beasts deserved to be tortured. Too bad they didn't torture them all.

there was some tortures in winter war by finns. i have seen pictures in finnish war museum. in pictures there was some russian soldier skinned alive and after that the soldier was put hanging on tree. but there have all so been torturwe in russian side to. but there is allways consequence from the war and madness. in every war this happens.

All russian pilots shot down and captured by finns,as well as kommisars were branded by hot iron in shape of star and killed. The 18th division fought near Lemetti.I'm not telling that all russian POW were tortured and killed,but there were such accidents
